Grado is a council of the autonomous community of the Principality of Asturias, Spain, a parish of the mentioned council and a village of said parish, capital of the council. The council limits to the north with Candamo and Las Regueras, to the east with Proaza, Santo Adriano and Oviedo, to the south with Teverga and Yernes and Tameza and to the west with Belmonte de Miranda and Salas. It has a population of 9,980 inhabitants.

Therefore, especially during the Sunday markets, several thousand visitors come to the village with the purpose of participating in the animation that not only provides the market itself, but also with the commerce and Moscona trade, which also remains open.
